Peter Samuelson has more than 45 years’ experience managing companies in Europe, encompassing sales and business management.
He has significant experience creating effective teams and making everyone feel they are an important part of the business.
He has widespread knowledge of trends within the retail interiors market and what the leading companies are doing in Scandinavia, including their strengths and weakneses.
He really knows this market which he follows daily. He has a good reputation and is a
person you can trust. He has a large network of personal contacts within the store
interiors and retail market throughout Europe.
Peter has been a CEO in Sweden, the UK, and within new businesses across large
areas of Europe, including Turkey. He has established companies in Poland, Czech, Hungary, Italy and Spain and been Chairman of businesses in Sweden, Finland and the UK, plus those in many of the above countries. He also has excellent experience as a board member.
In conjunction with his teams, Peter has delivered several business´turn-arounds’.
For example he increased the turnover of a UK company from 15 million SEK to 200
million in just 18 months, thereby returning it to profitability.
He also has significant experience of what can go wrong when a private equity
company buys into businesses, and what you need to consider.
He has considerable experience with wood and metal production. He co-operates closely with those experts involved with retail interiors construction, engineering and procurement. He is passionate about recycling, pays close attention to sustainability, and so works with experts on this subject.
